Featuring the UAM Jazz One, the University of Arkansas at Monticello's premier jazz ensemble!  The UAM Jazz One performed at the 2021 Midwest Clinic International Band, Orchestra, and Music Conference in Chicago on Dec. 16, 2021. UAM Jazz One performed for approximately 3,000 people and was one of only three college jazz bands selected to perform at the international conference.  

The Jazz One and Jazz Band II often perform for grade school students across Arkansas, Texas, and Louisiana.  Using the art of Jazz, they expose these young minds to the freedom and joy of music.  We welcome all UAM students, faculty, staff, and her surrounding community to come out and enjoy listening to this group of talented and award-winning musicians under the exciting new direction of UAM's new Director of Jazz Studies, Dr. Kevin Bryson.
